The first tooth that erupts in the oral cavity of the baby is the mandibular central incisor. That is at the age of around 6 to 6 1/2 months. This tooth is followed by the eruption of the lateral incisor. The lower lateral incisor at the age of 6 1/2 months to 7 months. Following this tooth the tooth that is going to erupt in the oral cavity is the maxillary central and

lateral incisor at the age of around 8 1/2 to 9 months. The next tooth that follows is the lower first molar that is at the age of around 12 months. Followed by the upper first molar at the age of around 14 months. The next tooth that is going to erupt will be the lower canine at the age of 16 months and the maxillary canine at the age of 20 months. And finally the eruption of the last but not the least tooth that is the mandibular second molar at the age of 20 months and finally the eruption of the maxillary second molar at the age of 24 months.
